S.A.Van lives in Wilmington, Delaware with her husband, daughter, and two very energetic dogs!

She enjoys vacationing at Walt Disney World and Cape May beach with family and friends.  The Counter Series, her first suspense series, is set in Cape May, New Jersey.  Many of the sites, restaurants, and shops mentioned in the books are actual establishments and can be visited on your next trip to the shore.

The Counter Series was started in 2011 and the final book was published in the Fall of 2017.  There are five books in the series: Counterplay, Counteract, Counterattack, Counterpoint, and Counterbalance.  A spin-off of four books – The Dare Series featuring Ann Bailey is currently in production.  Publication is expected by Fall 2023.
